Adolescence is the age of change that defines the transition from childhood to adulthood. Without the necessary support from family and community, the challenges faced by teenagers can feel overwhelming. We know that growing up is easier for teenagers when they are properly informed and guided towards the support they need.
The brochures prepared by the Inocenti psychologists have already reached over 85,000 teenagers.
Through these brochures, we aim to bring teenagers relevant information about 6 of the most prevalent mental health topics, and we hope to also raise awareness of the importance of mental health.
The information is presented in a simple, fact-based yet friendly way that is approachable for teenagers, with the aim of reducing the stigma surrounding mental disorders, as well as creating learning opportunities about the prevention and treatment of mental disorders.
Each brochure contains information according to the following structure:
The brochures were designed and written by the psychologists of the Inocenti Cluj-Napoca team (Bianca Sopon, Anca Stadnic, Cristina Maris, Ioana Mesterelu, Alexandrina Sabau), under the coordination of Conf. Univ. Dr. Thea Ionescu from the Department of Psychology of Babes-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca and the resident doctors from the Clinic of Pediatric Psychiatry and Drug Addiction Cluj-Napoca, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Viorel Lupu.
