The Inocenti teams provide humanitarian support to people (children and adults alike) coming from the armed conflict zone in Ukraine for them to cope with the challenging situations they are facing, focusing on: 

• decreasing anxiety levels in children, adolescents and parents;
• reducing trauma as a result of the war experience;
• facilitating a faster and more effective integration into communities.

• Inocenti specialists provide social services in the field of non-formal education, play and movement (creative activities and workshops, sports, development of independent living skills, etc.). 
• The Inocenti teams celebrate children’s birthdays in the locations where we are active. 
• The Inocenti Foundation supports Ukrainian families with hygiene products, clothes, medicines, food and other products, within the limits of the budget and donations received. 
• Inocenti teams offer logistical support to Ukrainian families in transit or staying in Romania for a longer period of time (organization of transportation to the embassy, airport, train; assistance in finding a job; donations of materials and equipment to help children enrolled in school) within the budget and donations received. 
• Inocenti specialists organize recreational workshops involving both Ukrainian and Romanian children.
• Psychologists of the Inocenti Foundation organize psychological counseling, expressive arts and therapy sessions.    
• Inocenti Foundation facilitates the access of our collaborators: psychologists, social workers, individual volunteers – representatives of civil society, to the Psychological First Aid training in war trauma held by our collaborators from Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School in the USA.

From November 2022, the Innocenti team offers support within the Accommodation Center for Displaced Persons from Ukraine, organized in Edmond Nicolau Technical College, Bucharest.

In 2023, the Innocenti team together with 17 volunteers offered support to more than 75 children and adolescents and 120 parents and legal guardians.
